Transfer Admission
UCSB has established a Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) with all California community colleges. Students should refer to the ASSIST website under "articulation agreements by major" between UCSB and a specific community colleges for more details. For more information on transfer eligibility and selection, visit the Transfer section of this site.
If you choose to enroll at a California community college, we encourage you to sign up to be part of the Transfer Prep program. Full details about the next cycle will be available on that page.
Please note: UCSB accepts applications from junior-level transfers only and will give priority consideration to applicants from California community colleges.
