Campus Tours and Presentations

Campus Tour

The UCSB Visitor Center offers guided walking tours and admission presentations. Reservations are required for the presentation and tours. Campus visitors without reservations are welcome in the Visitor Center and will be invited to join activities as space allows.

Campus Visits

  • Individuals and Families

    Visitors can register for two visit options:

    1. Campus Visit: Presentation and Tour which includes a one-hour UCSB information session (including an overview of UCSB academic programs, research, campus life and extracurricular opportunities) followed by a 90-minute walking tour.

    2. Campus Tour which does not include the information session component.

    Campus Visit (Individual or Family)

  • High School, Transfer or Community Groups

    The Visitor Center hosts groups of 20 to 100 students for the Group Visit: Presentation and Tour which includes a one-hour UCSB information session (including an overview of UCSB academic programs, research, campus life and extracurricular opportunities) followed by a 90-minute walking tour.

    Middle School Groups:
    If you are scheduling a visit for a middle school or elementary group, please email eventmanager@sa.ucsb.edu to arrange your tour.

Parking

The Visitor Center is located on the ground floor of the Student Affairs Administrative Services Building (SAASB).

Visitors should park in the Mesa parking structure (Lot 18) or in Lot 16. Parking permits should be purchased at the parking kiosk machines and permits must be displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle.

Visitor Center Hours

Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (except on administrative closures and university holidays).

The Visitor Center is also open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on select Saturdays in April and May.
