Campus Tours and Presentations

Campus Tour

The UCSB Visitor Center offers guided walking tours and admissions presentations. Reservations are required for the presentation and tours. Individuals and families without reservations are welcome in the Visitor Center and will be invited to join activities as space allows. 

    Campus Walking Tours

    Tours are offered:
    Monday through Friday at 12 - 1:30 p.m. and 2 - 3:30 p.m.

    The Visitor Center offers guided campus walking tours led by current UCSB students or alumni. The tours are approximately 90 minutes long, and tours visit essential campus locations including a lecture hall, the library and the University Center. Tour guides showcase the physical campus while providing personal experiences and tips from their UCSB student experience.

    Admissions Presentations

    Presentations are offered:
    Monday through Friday at 11 a.m. - noon

    UCSB Office of Admissions counselors lead one-hour presentations daily that provide an overview of UCSB academic programs and campus life as well as extracurricular opportunities, housing, financial aid, summer programs, admission requirements, selection criteria, application instructions and important deadlines.


    Visitor Center Hours

    The center is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (except on administrative closures and university holidays). The Visitor Center is also open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays in April.

    Location

    The Visitor Center is located adjacent to the Mesa Parking Structure 18 on the ground floor of the Student Affairs Administrative Services Building (SAASB).
