Campus Tours and Presentations

Campus Tour

The UCSB Visitor Center offers guided walking tours and admission presentations. Reservations are required for the presentation and tours. Campus visitors without reservations are welcome in the Visitor Center and will be invited to join activities as space allows. 

Note for visitors: As of January 2014 all UC campuses, including UCSB, are smoke-free and tobacco-free. For more information on the policy please visit the campus website.

Campus Visits

  • Individuals and Families

    The Visitor Center offers 90-minute guided campus walking tours led by current students or alumni. Tours visit key campus locations including a residence hall, the UCSB Library and the University Center. Tour guides showcase the physical campus while sharing personal experiences and tips from their student experience.

    Office of Admissions counselors lead one-hour presentations in the Visitor Center that provide an overview of UCSB academic programs, research, campus life and extracurricular opportunities.

    The Visitor Center hosts groups of 20 to 100 students. Group visits usually consist of an admission presentation and a guided campus walking tour.

Visitor Center Hours

The center is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (except on administrative closures and university holidays). The Visitor Center is also open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on select Saturdays in April.
