UCSB Housing and Residential Services offers student living communities for freshman, transfer and international students. Whether you're interested in the convenience of residence halls or the independence of campus apartments, Housing and Residential Services has something for everyone.
- There are eight university-operated residence halls on campus.
- Transfer students are also eligible for housing in several university apartment complexes on campus and in Isla Vista, including family apartments.
- Students are not required to live on campus and may commute or rent from numerous private housing providers in the area.
