Gaucho Online Thursday webinars (May 2, 9 and 16) offer newly admitted transfer
students the opportunity to become more familiar with UCSB. Topics will
include Steps to Enrollment, housing, summer transitions programs, and student life
opportunities. This is the online version of Gaucho Transfer Fridays, an on campus

UC Personal Statement Presentations
In June, July and August, 2013, UCSB will host weekly presentations about the UC Personal Statement.
The 45-minute online presentations will be held on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. and on Thursdays at 2 p.m.
(Pacific Time). Admissions staff will explain how the Personal Statement is used in the UC application process.
(The webinars will not provide individual evaluations. Our goal is to provide guidance that will help
students who are getting started or who are refining an existing statement to improve their response.)
